Can I keep track of my items throughout the entire process?
Most definitely. The items you ship our way will come with tracking information. Once your items are on-site, we will provide updates each time we advance your items to the next stage in the service process. (If you opt in)When we ship the items back your way, we will provide you with the new tracking number so you can keep an eye on your valuables.

What if it turns out additional repairs and/or services are necessary?
When your items arrive on-site our Cobblers will assess them. In case additional repairs and/or services are recommended or needed we will call you first to discuss in detail. When additional charges are agreed upon you will receive a link to make that extra payment.If you decide you do not want to add these recommended services, we can ship the items back to you at no costs to you.

How to ship your items to our Repair Center?
Shipping your items to our Repair Center is easy!
1. Pack your item(s) for shipment. We recommend wrapping the item(s) in bubble wrap or tissue paper so that the package contents do not move around inside the shipping carton.
2. Affix the pre-paid shipping label to the shipping carton.
3. Bring your package to the carrier listed on the shipping label. To ensure proper delivery of your shipment, we recommend that you do not place your package in a carrier drop box. Obtain a receipt from the carrier for proof of drop-off.
You may also choose to ship your package to us using a shipping carrier of your choice, and you may want to consider insuring your package in case of damage or loss during shipment. If you use a shipper of your choice, include a printout of your order confirmation inside the shipping carton.

What if Koio cannot make the requested repairs and/or complete the selected services?

Who is restoring my shoes?
Koio has teamed up with The Cobblers to provide professional shoe restoration and cleaning services. All services are completed by The Cobblers’ master artisans, who are located right here in the United States.
When will I receive my restored shoes?
Shoes will be shipped back to you 15 business days after they arrive at The Cobblers’ workshop. Shipping typically takes about 1-2 days (to and from The Cobblers’ workshop) so please account for this time as well. We’ll reach out to you when we receive your shoes, and we’ll reach out again once your restoration is complete.

What is a cobbler?
A cobbler is an individual who is professionally trained to mend, clean, and even make shoes. Many cobblers are trained to handle other types of leather goods as well.
Why should I trust you to repair my shoes?
The Cobblers’ team of artisans is trained to handle and care for Koio’s shoes. They understand how they’re made and how they should and should not be treated.
